Is my financial SMS safe? +
Yes. FunGastos only reads messages that look like transactions, extracts amount, merchant, and date, then encrypts them on your device before sending to our own servers at fungastos.com/api. We never read OTPs, personal chats, or anything unrelated to spending.
Do you sell my data? +
Never. We don't run ads, and we don't sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing. Your money story stays yours.
Can I use FunGastos without granting SMS? +
Absolutely. Manual entry works fully offline with no permissions at all. On iOS, where SMS reading isn't available, manual entry and bank/e-wallet exports are the way to log spending.
Which banks and e-wallets are supported? +
GCash, Maya, BDO, UnionBank, SeaBank, Security Bank, Landbank, and most major PH banks that send transaction SMS. New ones are matched automatically as we see their formats.
How do I delete my account and data? +
You can request permanent deletion anytime from in-app settings or our dedicated page: fungastos.com/delete-account.html. We process it within 7 business days.
